Les Escoumins, January 15, 2025 — The Société d’aide au développement de la collectivité (SADC) de la Haute-Côte-Nord is pleased to present new financing packages to support business transfer, and to accelerate the green and digital transition, and innovation.

Transfer Strategy—Green Strategy—Digital Strategy

These new financing packages will enable businesses to access loans of up to $50,000 with favourable terms — such as being two years’ interest-free.

The Transfer Strategy package is intended to facilitate business transfer, for internal and family succession, as well as for business acquisition.

The Green Strategy package is intended to boost the green shift of SMEs in Quebec’s regions by facilitating the adoption of environmentally friendly practices or the implementation of clean technology, such as optimizing energy efficiency and waste management, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The Digital Strategy package is intended to bolster the digital transformation of SMEs, by implementing management systems (CRM, ERP), automating processes, incorporating robotics, smart home technology, and optimizing computer security.

Business Transfer Package—Sustainable Development Package—Innovation Package

These financial packages, in the form of a loan, intend to support the next generation of entrepreneurs and businesses making efforts toward sustainable development or innovation to improve performance and efficiency. They can be combined with other loans, such as the Strategy packages, to supplement financing.

The new packages built around business transfer will be presented on February 5 during a half-day training and networking event in Les Escoumins.
