Cantine chez mom crowned winner of the Mois de la Guédille 2024!

The Cantine chez mom team with representatives of the MRC and the SADC Haute-Côte-Nord

The three rolls with the most votes were submitted to a jury composed of representatives from the local media who had to pick the best based on three criteria: local products, originality and taste.

The finalists—Halte gourmande de Sacré-Coeur, Cantine la Bonne Franquette in Forestville, and Cantine chez mom in Les Escoumins—were visited by the jury who declared victorious the “On brunch chez mom” roll from Cantine chez mom.

Featuring homemade sausage from Boucherie Escoumins (made with Ponton 5 ale from the Microbrasserie Tadoussac), bacon, egg, tomato, cheese (slices or curds) and mom sauce.

As the winner, owner, Chantal Létourneau received $2,600 worth of advertising in local media.
